Our History
Throughout the last two decades we have built a path full of learning that has allowed us to position our brand in Maracaibo - Venezuela, the city where we started our activities and then expanded to other important destinations within the Venezuelan territory, thanks to the interaction as a supplier of one of the most prestigious energy companies in the world.
1980 -2007: A bold vision starts with knowing how to keep the focus on the search for an environment full of opportunities.
Nace en Venezuela en 1980, Héctor Matheus quien se forma en la industria de la logística ejerciendo actividades para empresas relacionadas a la aviación comercial de carga, aerolíneas, seguridad aeronáutica y atención en tierra. Héctor y su amigo Carlos, comienzan a trabajar juntos en el año 2007, dandole inicio al acrónimo CAHE que se conforma de los nombres Carlos-Héctor.
2007 - 2009: The first step is consolidated.
In 2007 Representaciones C.A.H.E., C.A. was created as an air cargo agency for the perishable food industry in the city of Maracaibo - Venezuela.
2009 - 2010: The consolidation of the first step takes another shape.
In 2009, CAHE EXPRESS INC. was created in the city of Doral, Florida, in the United States of America, with the aim of expanding the operational capabilities using Miami as a bridge of transit of greater breadth of interline agreements that would allow to reach other latitudes for the interconnection requirements of our customers.
2010 - 2021: Some accreditations are defined, one cycle ends and another begins.
In 2010 Representaciones C.A.H.E., C.A. was accredited as an air cargo agent by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
In 2012 the company Aduanera del Centro & Occidente Maracaibo C.A. was acquired, whose objective and function is to provide a more integrated logistics concept, providing services as a customs broker.
In 2016, CAHE EXPRESS INC obtained its license from the Transport Security Administration, TSA, as an Indirect Air Carrier, IAC.
In the same year, 2016, Carlos's separation from the companies Representaciones C.A.H.E., C.A – CAHE EXPRESS INC. was formalized.
In 2020 Representaciones C.A.H.E., C.A. becomes an individual member of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association (FIATA).
In 2021 the creation of the project starts on a new division, which takes the name CAHE EXPRESS INTERNATIONAL COURIER C.A., having as initial base Maracaibo - Venezuela.
Today: The search for a legacy must include a rethinking of our foundations and a sustainable approach to the future.
The world is in search of efficient products and services, supported by new technologies that enable the contribution to decarbonisation and cost efficiency, meeting goals and targets.
Planned growth to other latitudes will be one of our main focuses, where innovation will guide us as we continue to shape our history.
